SCT Switchbox Setup
Touch the Next button on the Section Control Setup screen to display the Switchbox Setup screen. This
screen is used to configure the function of each section switch on the Seed Hawk switch box.
Note:
Settings on the Switchbox Setup screen are locked during job applications. Be sure the Switchbox
Setup screen is properly configured for applications before starting or resuming job applications.
Openers
Enable the openers option to allow the operator to control the section openers via the Seed Hawk switch box.
If the openers are enabled for all sections and the section switches are set to the ‘SCT’ position on the switch
box, the Viper Pro will automatically raise or lower all sections based on the current coverage map or apply/no-
apply zones.
Meter Gates
Enable the meter gates options to assign the product bins to each section. With the meter gate enabled, the
section switch may be used to manually toggle the product application for that section on or off. If the section
switch is left in the ‘SCT’ position, Viper Pro will automatically control product application based on previously
applied areas or a apply/no-apply zone map.
Note:
If a bin will not be used during application, disable the corresponding meter gates or toggle the
product switch to off to keep Viper from sending alarm messages during the application.
Liquid Valves
Enable the liquid valves options to control liquid fertilizer application using the Seed Hawk switch box. With
these options selected, the operator can manually control liquid products by toggling the section switch on or
off. If the section switch is in the ‘SCT’ position, the Viper Pro will automatically control liquid product valves
according to apply/no-apply or coverage maps.
