1. Drive to the beginning point of the pivot pattern and touch the ‘Set A’ button on the screen.
Note:
Currently, this pattern does not require that a complete pivot pass be driven in order to generate
guidance, however, the best results are usually obtained by driving as much of the first swath as
possible before setting the ‘B’ point of the pivot pattern.
2. Drive along the pivot pattern. Touch the ‘Set B’ button on the screen to set the second point of the guidance
path. The guidance lines will now display to the inside of the set circle.
Using the Guide Tab
Once you have opened a job and selected the Guidance pattern, Viper Pro displays the Guide tab. The map
area displays a Course Direction Indicator in the form of an arrow with the arrow pointing in the direction of
travel of the vehicle. You can access additional on-screen buttons that allow you to operate the guidance
system.
