VISOR MECHANISM - REPLACEMENT - see figure 14
REMOVAL
After having removed the visor as described in the previous sections, loosen and remove screws (H) and (L); remove the
mechanism from the helmet shell.
ASSEMBLY
Mechanisms (K) are not interchangeable. Before proceeding identify the respective assembly side; the mechanisms are
marked with a letter stamped on the rear (L
> left-hand side when wearing the helmet - R > right-hand side when wearing
the helmet).
Position the mechanism on the shell, insert screws (H) and (L) and screw them down without tightening completely.
After installation check that the mechanisms are correctly positioned and fixed securely to the shell. Now install the visor
and adjust it as described in the above paragraphs.
When the installation operation is complete, check that the visor is securely attached to the helmet, that it is free to rotate,
and that it can be immobilised securely in the locking positions.
If these conditions are not complied with and if the visor rotation mechanism fails to function correctly: do not use the
helmet.

RETRAIT
Après avoir ôté la visière selon les indications des paragraphes précédents, desserrer et ôter les vis (H) et (L); enlever le
mécanisme de la calotte.
MONTAGE
Les mécanismes (K) ne sont pas interchangeables. Avant de procéder, il convient d’identifier le côté de montage respectif;
l’identification des mécanismes se fait par le biais d’une lettre imprimée à l’arrière (L
> côte gauche une fois le casque
mis - R > côte droit une fois le casque mis).
Positionner le mécanisme sur la calotte, enfiler les vis (H) et (L) que l’on serrera sans les visser à fond.
Au terme du montage, vérifier que les mécanismes sont convenablement positionnés et solidement fixées à la calotte.
Procéder ensuite au montage et au réglage de la visière selon les indications des paragraphes précédents.
Une fois le montage terminé, vérifier que la visière est solidement arrimée au casque, qu’elle tourne librement et qu’elle
se bloque bien sur les positions d’arrêt.
Si ces conditions ne sont pas réunies, et que et le mécanisme de rotation de la visière ne fonctionne pas correctement,
s’abstenir d’utiliser le casque.

RIMOZIONE
Dopo aver rimosso la visiera come indicato nei paragrafi precedenti. Allentare e rimuovere le viti (H) e (L); rimuovere il
meccanismo dalla calotta.
MONTAGGIO
I meccanismi (K) non sono intercambiabili. Prima di procedere è necessario identificare il rispettivo lato di montaggio; i
meccanismi sono identificati da una lettera impressa sul lato posteriore (L
> lato sinistro a casco indossato - R > lato
destro a casco indossato).
Posizionare il meccanismo sulla calotta, inserire le viti (H) e (L) ed avvitarle senza serrarle completamente.
Dopo il montaggio controllare che i meccanismi siano posizionati correttamente e fissati saldamente alla calotta. Procedere
poi al montaggio della visiera ed alla sua regolazione come specificato ai paragrafi precedenti.
A montaggio completato controllare che la visiera sia saldamente vincolata al casco, che ruoti liberamente e che si blocchi
correttamente nelle posizioni di fermo.
Se queste condizioni non fossero verificate ed il meccanismo di rotazione della visiera non funzionasse correttamente,
astenersi dall’usare il casco.
