Introduction

This chapter introduces you to the basics of loading media into the
HP LaserJet 3150 product and choosing a paper output path, as well
as tips for performing printing tasks with special media. Typically, all
print-related commands are executed through the program used to
create the document, so look in your program’s documentation for
instructions on sending jobs to print.

In order to print to the HP LaserJet 3150 product, the product must be
connected directly to a computer or to the network using an
HP JetDirect print server, and you must at least have the printer
drivers for this product installed. (If you installed the software, the
printer drivers have been installed.) Other HP printer drivers do not
work with this product.

In this chapter, the following icons appear next to a procedure when:

You can do it from the product control panel.

You can do it from your computer if the product is directly connected
to your computer.

You can do it from your computer if the product is directly connected
to someone else’s computer and shared using Windows sharing.

You can do it from your computer if the product is connected to the
network using an HP JetDirect print server.
