2-3-4 Notes on Using the XP Remote Web Console on Windows Server® 2003
Computers
If you are using a Windows Server® 2003 computer, the following operations will be necessary.
• When using XP Remote Web Console for the first time, perform the following procedure in Internet Explorer:
1. In Internet Explorer®, click Tools > Internet Options. The Internet Options dialog box appears (see Figure 2-
7).
2. Click Advanced.
3. Clear the Do not save encrypted pages to disk check box.
4. Select OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.

• If a page is not displayed due to an “invalid syntax error”, register the URL of the desired SVP to the trusted
site using the following procedure :
1. In Internet Explorer®, click Tools > Internet Options. The Internet Options dialog box appears.
2. Click Security.
3. Click Trusted sites.
4. Click Sites. The Trusted sites pane opens.
5. Type the URL of the desired SVP in the Add this Web site to the zone: box.
6. Click Add.
7. Click Close
8. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
