3-1-3 XP Remote Web Console Main Pane, Status Tab

The Status tab of the XP Remote Web Console main pane shows detailed information on the internal status of the

connected subsystem, including the service information message (SIM) information that is being reported to the

host. There are five SIM severity levels: good, service, moderate, serious, and acute (see Table 3-1).

XP12000/XP10000 Disk Array subsystem generates a SIM whenever it detects an error or service

requirement. The status level displayed on the Status tab is based on the SIM information that is reported to the

host. SIM information that is not reported to the host is not displayed on the Status tab (see Figure 3-12).

This pane is not available to storage partition administrators.

The Status tab has the following features:

Ref. Code displays the SIM Reference Code.

Error Level displays the error levels: Good, Service, Moderate, Serious, and Acute (see Table 3-1).

Status displays either Complete (if the SIM has been deleted from the SVP) or Not Complete (if the error has

not been deleted).

Date displays the date that the SIM occurred.

Total Rows displays the total number of rows that are listed.
