3 Performing XP Remote Web Console Operations
You can perform the following types of operations on the XP Remote Web Console:
• Viewing the basic information of the subsystem (see section 3-1-4
• Launching the desired option (see section 3-1-5
• Downloading the Audit Log File (storage administrator only; see section 3-2
• Editing the user account list (storage administrator with superuser authority and storage partition
administrator with superuser authority only; see section 3-3 )
• Setting XP Remote Web Console environment parameters (storage administrator with superuser authority
only; see section 3-4
• Downloading the log and configuration files (storage administrator with superuser authority only; see
section 3-5 )
• Restoring the user account list and the environment parameters (storage administrator with superuser
authority only; see section 3-6 )
• Viewing the XP Remote Web Console information, and changing your own password (see section 3-7 )
• Downloading Trace Files Using the FD Dump Tool (storage administrator only; see section 3-8 )
3-1 XP Remote Web Console Main Pane
3-1-1 Identity Tab on the XP Remote Web Console Main Pane
The XP Remote Web Console main pane (see Figure 3-1) opens automatically after you log on to the SVP.
Until you install at least one of the product options for XP Remote Web Console, the License Key pane will
open after you log on (refer to Figure 2-27). After you install a product option, the XP Remote Web Console
main pane will open.
