1U Rackmount System

Simultaneous Multi-Threading (Available when supported by the CPU)

Set to Enabled to use the Hyper-Threading Technology, which will result in increased CPU perfor-
mance. The options are Disabled and Enabled.Active Processor Cores

Set to Enabled to use a processor's Second Core and beyond. (Please refer to Intel's web site for
more information.) The options are All, 1 and 2.

Active Processor Cores

Set to Enabled to use a processor's Second Core and beyond. (Please refer to

Intel's web site for more information.) The options are All, 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Intel® EIST Technology

EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) allows the system to automatically adjust processor
voltage and core frequency in an effort to reduce power consumption and heat dissipation. Please
refer to Intel's web site for detailed information.

The options are Disable: Disable GV3 and Enable: Enable GV3.

Intel® TurboMode Technology

Select Enabled to use the Turbo Mode to boost system performance. The options are Enabled and
Disabled.

C1E Support

Select Enabled to use the "Enhanced Halt State" feature. C1E significantly reduces the CPU's power
consumption by reducing the CPU's clock cycle and voltage during a "Halt State." The options are
Disabled and Enabled.

C-STATE Tech

If enabled, C-State is set by the system automatically to either C2, C3 or C4 state. The options are
Disabled and Enabled.

C-State package limit setting

If set to Auto, the AMI BIOS will automatically set the limit on the C-State package register. The options
are Auto, C1, C3, C6 and C7.
