OSD Functions

OSD functions configure and control the OSD. Examples of what can be
accomplished with the OSD include: rapidly switching to any KVM port; auto
scanning specifically selected KVM ports; limiting the list of KVM ports you
wish to view; managing port names; user management, system administration,
and making OSD setting adjustments.

All setting changes are stored in temporary memory and remain in effect for
the duration of your session. If you shut down the KM0832 without first
logging out, your changes may be discarded. Setting changes in daisy-chained
KM0432 or KM0216 only become permanent when you log out of the OSD
(see p. 122). If you shut down the KM0432 or KM0216 without first logging
out, your changes are discarded.
