Problem Possible Cause Action
When I login, the
browser generates a
CA Root certificate is
not trusted, or a
Certificate Error
response. The certificate’s name
is not found on
Microsoft’s list of
Trusted Authorities. The certificate can be trusted.
See Trusted Certificates, page 142,
for details.
Some characters I
enter from the
keyboard do not
display correctly. The keyboard layout
setting for the port in
which you are having
the problem does not
match the layout of
the keyboard that you
are using.
In order for all
characters to display
correctly, the
keyboard layout
setting for the port
should match the
layout of the keyboard
you are using.
Change the keyboard layout setting
for the port to match the layout of the
keyboard that you are using.
To change the keyboard layout setting:
1. Open the Port Management
Webpage for the port in which you
are having the problem. (See Port
Management, page 67.)
2. In the Keyboard Layout field,
select the layout of the keyboard
you want to use.
3. Click Save.
4. If the computer attached to the port
is a Sun server or iMac, or if chang-
ing the keyboard layout setting
doesn’t immediately resolve the
problem, reboot the computer. After
rebooting, the characters you enter
from the keyboard should display
properly.

control Mac (Sun)
computers. The keyboard setting
for the port in which

problem does not

(Sun) keyboards to
control Mac (Sun)
computers, the
keyboard setting for
the port must match
the keyboard you are
using.
Change the keyboard setting for the
port to match the keyboard that you
are using.
To change the keyboard setting:
1. Open the Port Management
Webpage for the port in which you
are having the problem. (See Port
Management, page 67.)
2. In the Keyboard field, select the
keyboard you want to use.
3. Click Save.
4. Reboot the computer attached to
the port. After rebooting, you
should be able to use the special
keys on your keyboard to control
the computer.
