Managing Port Access Rights for Groups

Super administrators can manage KVM port access rights for groups from the
Group Information Webpage.

Please note that you do not need to assign access rights for a group to any KVM
port that cascades a KM0832. However, you must assign access rights to KVM
ports that cascade non-KM0832 KVM switches. When you assign access rights
to a KVM port that cascades a Matrix Plus KVM adapter cable, the access
rights apply to all KVM adapter cables in the chain.

To manage KVM port access rights for a group:

1. In the Group Management Webpage, select a group name from the list,

and then click Modify. The Group Information Webpage appears. (If you
have already completed this step, skip to Step 2.)

The Group Information Webpage lists all KVM ports in the installation.
KVM ports, whether on the root station, daisy chained, or cascaded, are
listed in order of position in the installation.
