Turn the steam knob to ‘ON’.

The message ‘STEAM!’ is shown on the display.

Hot water comes out of the steam pipe.

This takes approx. 20 seconds.
Let this water run into the drip tray. Do not insert the steam pipe in the

milk yet, otherwise this water ends up in the milk and affects the taste of

the milk.

Wait until no water but only steam comes out of the steam

pipe. Then insert the steam pipe into the milk jug or cup.

Keep the tip of the steam pipe approx. 3cm above the bottom of the milk

jug or cup.
Do not froth milk longer than minutes.

Move the milk jug or cup downwards to bring the steam pipe to the

milk surface. Briefly dip the tip of the steam pipe into the milk a few

times.

5

Move the milk jug or cup upwards again until the tip of the steam

pipe is approx. 1cm above the bottom of the milk jug or cup.

6

Move the milk jug or cup to and fro during frothing.

Turn the steam knob to ‘OFF’ when you feel that the milk becomes

hot.

The milk froth is of good quality when there are no big bubbles in it.

8

Tap the milk jug a few times firmly if you see small bubbles in the

milk froth.

9

Meanwhile brew espresso in a cappuccino cup.

10

Pour liquid milk from the bottom of the milk jug or cup into the

espresso.

11

Scoop milk froth on top of the espresso.
