The coffee maker is now programmed to display the ‘PLEASE

DESCALE!’ message based on the actual hardness of the water you

use.

Press the MENU button.

The button lights up.



Press the ^ button until the message ‘SET LANGUAGE?’ appears on

the display.



Press the OK button.



Press the ^ or % button until the desired language appears on the

display.

Press the OK button.

The appliance automatically exits the MENU mode.

resetting to default settings
If you have changed the preset settings, you can reset the appliance to the

default settings as follows:
Note: The appliance resets all menu parameters except the language and the

clock.

Press the MENU button.

The button lights up.



Press the ^ button until the message ‘RESET TO DEFAULT?’ appears

on the display



Press the OK button.

While the appliance is resetting, the message ‘SETTING’ is shown on

the display.

When the reset is complete, the message ‘SETTING DONE’ is

shown on the display.

The appliance automatically exits the MENU mode.

cleaning

Let the appliance cool down and unplug it before you clean it.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids

such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliance. Only use a damp cloth.

Clean the waste bin after brewing 1 cups. See chapter ‘Using the

espresso maker’, section ‘Brewing espresso’.



Clean the water tank regularly.
