Refi ll the coff ee bean hop-
per and restart the brewing
cycle. When this icon is displayed, descaling is needed. Press the button
to enter the descaling menu and refer to the relevant chapter.

Close the service door. Fill the coff ee bean hopper
with coff ee beans. The brew group must be in-
serted into the machine. Insert the coff ee grounds
drawer. Empty the coff ee grounds
drawer and the coff ee resi-
dues drawer.

Cerrar la puerta de servicio. Llenar el contenedor de café
con café en grano. El grupo de café debe estar
introducido en la máquina. Introducir el cajón de reco-
gida de posos. Vaciar el cajón de recogida
de posos y el cajón de reco-
gida de café.

Fill the water tank. Turn the selector dial back to
the position. Problems with the water
circuit. Turn off the machine. After 30 seconds, turn it back on. Re-
peat the procedure 2 or 3 times.
If the machine does not start, contact the Philips SAECO hot-
line (contact details in the warranty booklet).
