Illuminates when the LUC module has power. To apply
power to the LUC module, you must enable the handset. Machine Active Indicator 1
Jog button. Press this button to move the lower crosshead
up. Lower Crosshead Up Button 2
Jog button. Press this button to move the lower crosshead
down. Lower Crosshead Down

(Shown in closed position.) Three-position switch for
controlling grips used in a tension test. Switch left to close Upper Grip Control Switch 4
the upper grip, switch right to release the upper grip, and
switch to the middle position to hold the upper grip. The hold
position is used to pause or hold the grip slightly open to be
able to adjust the specimen. To clear interlocks after
powerup, both grip controls must be in the hold position.
The grip controls should only be operated when the handset
is enabled. When the handset is not enabled, moving the
grips to a position that would cause motion will cause an
interlock.
Move both grip controls to the hold position to clear an
interlock.

Press this button to initiate an emergency stop. All motion
should stop when this button is pressed. Emergency Stop Button 6
Grips will remain locked after the Emergency Stop button
is pressed. To release a grip:
1. Release the E-stop button by turning it clockwise.
2. On the IOP, press the white Start Pump button.
