• Right clicking on the Timeline Display enters a keyframe at that time location.

Timeline Magnify Slider

Below the Timeline is a slide bar to reduce or enlarge the portion of the timeline you are
working with.

Timeline Editing

Controls

The controls on the right center side of the Playback screen add, edit, and remove
keyframes in the current timeline. See

“Timeline Effect Operations” on page 48

for

information about keyframe effects.

Set Mark:

Inserts a Keyframe into the timeline at the current cursor location that contains the
parameters defined by the other Timeline Editing settings.

NOTE:

Right clicking on the Scrub Bar or timeline enters a Keyframe into the timeline at that
location.

Play Speed:

Sets the video playback speed for the video from the previous timeline keyframe location
to the current timeline location when Mark is pressed

Zoom Trans/Zoom Cut:

Determines whether the ROI move between keyframes is a cut or an interpolated smooth
transition.

Video Hold:

Sets a hold at the current timeline location (for the duration in frames indicated on the
right) when Mark is pressed.

Hold Duration:

Defines how long a Video Hold will last, in frames.

User Pause:

Sets a pause at that keyframe location, such that a running timeline will pause at that
location until the user resumes the timeline run.

Clear:

Removes the current Keyframe from the timeline.

Clear All:

Removes all Keyframes from the timeline.

Timeline Run Controls

The controls on the lower right of the Playback screen play and navigate through the
current timeline.

PRV KF:

Moves the timeline to the previous keyframe location.

NXT KF:

Moves the timeline to the next keyframe location.

CUE:

Cues to the first keyframe in the timeline.

RUN:

Plays the timeline from the start location. Pressing RUN again stops the run. A
subsequent press of the RUN button runs again from the start of the timeline, unless the
timeline was paused, in which case it will resume running.

Loop:

Sets the timeline to play continuously, jumping from the last keyframe to the first
keyframe.

PAUSE:

Stops timeline playback at a point on the timeline. Pressing Pause (or Run) again
resumes playing the timeline.
