7.1 Malfunction during start-up
Problem Cause Remedy
The instrument does
not start. The power supply cable is
not or incorrectly con-
nected. Correctly connect the power supply cable (see
"Connecting the power supply cable", page
8).
The fuse has melted. Replace the fuse (see Chapter 6.2.3, page 30).
7.2 Error messages from the software
Problem Cause Remedy
Error 4209 "Lamp is
not on" The lamp is no longer burn-
ing. Replace the lamp (see Chapter 6.2.1, page
20).
Error 4210 "Sample
holder in wrong
position" The sample cup is inserted
incorrectly. Insert the sample cup correctly (see Chapter
3.7, page 15).
Error 4211 "Sample
holder moved dur-
ing scan" The sample compartment
window lid is open. Close the lid of the sample compartment.
The sample cup is inserted
incorrectly. Insert the sample cup correctly (see Chapter
3.7, page 15).
Error 4234 "Sample
cup jammed" The sample cup is jammed. Insert the sample cup correctly (see Chapter
3.7, page 15).
Error 4236 "Door
open" The sample compartment
window lid is open. Close the lid of the sample compartment.
