4) Parking Brake

When applied, it prevents the vehicle
from moving. Useful when the brake
needs to be locked for example such
as doing a K-turn, during transportation
or when the vehicle is not in operation.

WARNING

Always use the parking brake and
engage the FORWARD position on
the transmission lever when the
vehicle is not in operation.

ƽ

WARNING

Make sure parking brake is fully
disengaged before operating the
vehicle. Riding the vehicle with a
continuous pressure on the brakes
may cause damage to the brake
system and cause loss of braking
capacity and/or fire.

To engage mechanism:

Squeeze

brake lever and push down the brake
lever lock with a finger. Brake lever
is now compressed and applying rear
brakes.

2. Press to apply parking brake

To release mechanism:

Squeeze

brake lever. Lever lock should auto-
matically return to its original position.
Brake lever should return to rest po-
sition. Always release parking brake
before riding.

5) Transmission Lever

A 3-position lever.

CAUTION: Always completely stop
the vehicle and apply the brake
prior to moving the transmission
lever.

TRANSMISSION LEVER PATTERN

1. Forward (F)
2. Neutral (N)
3. Reverse (R)

To change the transmission position,
completely stop vehicle, apply brakes
then move lever to the desired po-
sition while moving lever forward or
backward. Do not force lever.

NOTE: Any shifting attempt at high
RPM or without brakes applied will
stop engine.

R: Reverse

This allows the vehicle to go back-
ward. This vehicle is equipped with
a reverse speed limiter system. Re-
fer to OVERRIDE BUTTON further, for
more informations.

WARNING

Before moving vehicle in reverse,
ensure the path behind is clear of
obstacles or bystanders. Remain
seated.
