This enables the user to select the serial port to be used by the computer to

control the SOLO. A drop-down list of available serial ports will be displayed

by clicking on the down arrow in the list box shown below:

The ‘Terminal Window’ button provides a HyperTerminal window which will

use the Serial port selected in the ‘Communications Port’ list box to enable the

user to use the SOLO’s ASCII Command Set (see Appendix A). The user can

then issue commands directly to the SOLO from the computer keyboard.
