3.

Click Start. Configuration data are read from the connected instrument:

Note: The instrument serial number and the name and revision level of the instrument
configuration file are displayed in the Read Configuration dialog box. Progress of reading of
configuration data is displayed in the status lines.
Note: If the ITC proprietary communication protocol is used, Transferring Data is displayed on
the connected HEMOCHRON Signature Elite instrument during data transfer. If the connection is
not made, an error message is displayed on the personal computer. Select Retry on the error
message box to make the connection.
Note: If the POCT-1A communication protocol is used, specific messages indicate the progress of
data transfer. If the connection is not made, the instrument will beep, display Network Timed
Out!, and prompt that the instrument is ready to accept a cuvette.

4.

When reading of configuration data is successfully completed, a confirmation dialog box is
displayed. Click OK to display the Configuration Module dialog box (see below).

To Load a Configuration File from the Database:

1.

Select the instrument type from the Instrument Type drop-down list.

2.

Select the file from the Select Existing Configuration drop-down list.

3.

Click Yes to the prompt for loading the selected file.

4.

Click OK when reading of the configuration data is complete. The Configuration Module dialog box
is displayed:
