A message box is displayed when writing of the configuration data is complete. Click OK to
acknowledge the message.

Printing Instrument Configuration Data
All of the configuration parameters for an individual instrument or a configuration file can be printed.

1.

(If needed) Connect the instrument to the PC (see page 48).

2.

(If needed) Start HEMOCHRON Configuration Manager and select the configuration file that is to be
downloaded (see page 52) or click on Read Configuration From Instrument.

3.

Click the View/Print Configuration button on the Configuration Module dialog box (page 53) to
display the configuration report.

4.

Click the Print icon to print the report.

Click the Export icon to export the report as a specified file type to a specified drive.
Click the Refresh icon to update the report.

5.

Click the Cancel icon to close the report window.

Closing the Configuration Module
After configuration data has been processed, the configuration module can be closed.

1.

Click the Exit button on the Configuration Module dialog box (page 53) to cancel display of the
configuration module dialog box.

Displaying and Printing Specific Configuration Reports
Several types of configuration reports can be displayed and printed. The reports provide an audit trail for
specific information from all configuration files (or for all instruments) stored in the database:

Specific Report

Description

Instrument Options Listing

Lists instrument options.

Operator Table Listing

Lists the name, OID, PIN, and certification expiration date for
each operator.

QC Lock-Out Control Listing

Lists selections for EQC/LQC Lockout.

User Notes Listing

Lists user notes that have been defined.

Lot Number Listing
(Signature Elite v2.0 or higher
only)

Lists lot numbers and expiration dates for cuvettes that have
been defined for each assay. Lists lot numbers, expiration
dates, and expected ranges for controls that have been defined
for each assay.

Audit Trail Report

Lists the changes made to configuration data files. The report
can be sorted by date or user name.

To Prepare a Specific Configuration Report:

1.

Select Reports in the Configuration Manager main menu.

2.

Select the desired report type from the Reports menu. A drop-down menu is displayed for selecting
the instrument type (Signature Elite or Signature+).

3.

Select the instrument type. The specified information is displayed.

4.

Click the Print icon to print the report.

Click the Export icon to export the report as a specified file type to a specified drive.
Click the Refresh icon to update the report.

5.

Click the Cancel icon to close the report window.
