You see an
“error” display

configured. Configure the button again,

The RECORD
button does not
work
•
A feature of UCommand prevents the
record function of your Tape or VCR from
starting unintentionally. Hold the RECORD
button for about 2 seconds for the
command to be sent to the VCR.
Problems
learning from 2-
way remotes
•
Some remotes return a confirmation signal
from the device, which can confuse the
learning capability. Turn off the device
while programming, or go to another room.
Alternately, move UCommand out of the
line-of-sight of the device immediately
after programming a button.
The LCD screen
turns off.
•
UCommand is preset at the factory to
automatically switch the LCD off after 20
minutes if left unused. Just tap the LCD
screen to turn UCommand back on again.
