Using as a Telephone Ansm&ing Machine
Operating the Answering Machine from the Handset
You can record your outgoing message, play
back messages and perform other functions
remotely from the handset.
Make sure that the MODE switch on the
handset is set to the RING ON position.

Press (REMOTE). Make sure that
REMOTE lamp lights up.

Press the dialing key ((§) to ®, ®) for
the desired function (see the table on
page 39).
Notes
• When more than 20 seconds elapse after
(REMOTE) is pressed, a long beep
sounds and the remote operation is
canceled.
• If someone else is operating the base unit,
five busy tones sound. Press (REMOTE)
again to stop busy tones.
• If the unit receives a call during remote
operation, the remote operation is
automatically canceled and the phone rings.
