If You Have a Problem
Probleim Cause and remedy
“P” blinks in the message
counter LED. “P” blinks when you connect first the AC power adaptor or
after a power interruption. Press any button to turn it off. #
The POWER lamp blinks. • The back-up batteries are not installed in the base unit.
Install the batteries.
• The back-up batteries are exhausted. Replace with new
ones.
Answering Machine
Problem Cause and remedy
Five short error beeps sound
while recording the OGM.
• When 5 seconds have passed after pressing (REC), the
recording is canceled. Repeat again from the begining. 9
• If your OGM is less than 2 seconds long, the recording is
canceled. Repeat from the begining. 9
• No tape is installed, install a tape. #
Five short error beeps sound
when vou Dress (OGM) to Dlav
back.
There is no OGM recorded. Record it. 9

when you press (ANSWER)
to turn on the answering
machine.
• There is no OGM recorded. Record it. #
• No tape is installed. Install a t2^3e. #
• The tape is full and there are messages which have not
been played back yet. Play back the rriessages and press
(TAPE RESET).
