Using as a Telephona Answering Machine
Description of Control Codes for Remote Operation

The table below shows the functions you can operate remotely and the control codes for them.
Function Control code Description
Play back the
messages (DO)® • The pia^ack stops every 4 minutes. Press the
control code again to continue piayback.
• You hear intermittent beeps while the unit rewinds
the tape.
• When you hang up after playing back messages,
and later call your phone again to play back new
messages, the messages which have been
played back at the previous call will also be
played back again.
Play back the same
message again • Press the control code during piayback.
Skip to the next
message ®® ® • Press the control code during playback.
• You cannot skip the last message.
Reset the tape 0® ® • You can only reset the tape after ail the messages
have been played back.
Record a memo
message
® ( D ® • Record the memo message as follows.
1 When you hear a long beep, start speaking.
2 Whenyouarefinished, press®® or hang
up to stop recording.
Record outgoing
message

• Record the outgoing message as foiiows.
1 When you hear a iong beep, start speaking.
2 Your phone plays back your outgoing message
for confirmation and turns on answering mode.
Check the current
time
®® ®
• The unit will announce the day of the week and
the current time.
Interrupt an
operation
®®
• Your phone stops the operation and waits for the
next controi code.
Turn on the
answering machine ®® ® • You will hear a long confirmation beep.
Turn off the
answering machine
® ® ® • You will hear a long confirmation beep.
