4. A List Box will appear that contains every individual line of text contained in the M-415

software. Use the scroll bar to move up and down and find the text you wish to edit.

(if your creating a new language just start at the first line). Using the mouse, double click (left
key) on the line to be edited.

5. A dialogue box called "Edit Language Text" will appear with the text to be edited and a line

to enter the translation or custom name. Type the changes desired and then select OK.
Scroll to the next line to be edited. Continue until all desired lines have been edited.


6. When done, go to "file" and select "save as". The "Save As" dialogue box will appear and

you can then type the new "file name" in (such as "Russian.lng”) and then select "Save".

NOTE

This program does not feature "Auto Save". Be sure to save your work frequently and
always save before exiting the program.

TRANSFERING A LANGUAGE FILE FROM THE LANGUAGE PROGRAM TO THE M-415


Once a Language File has been created it must be transferred to the M-415 and to the

M-415 Remote Software (on the PC).

ON THE PC

Using M-415 Remote Software logo screen main menu select "Tools". Then

select

"Language

File

Transfer"

A dialogue box titled "Select Files to Copy and Press Open" will appear. The list

box will show the language files that are available. Select the language file that is

not already in the program (such as the one you just edited or created) then select

"Open".


Another dialogue box will open titled (Select Destination Folder). In the list box

next to "Look in:" use the scroll key and find "Program Files – Arc Machines, Inc –

Languages". Select OK. This will put the new language file into the Language

Folder and make it selectable.


You will now be able to follow the steps of 5.17.1 (Selecting a Language) to

select the new language. Do not forget that after you have done that you must exit

the program and re-start in order for the new language file be in effect.


2.

ON THE M-415 POWER SUPPLY


1.

Insert a USB data storage device with the desired language file into the M-415 USB
port.


2.

From the AMI Logo Screen Main Menu select "Tools" then select "Language File

Transfer'". A dialogue box will appear. In the list box labeled "Look in" use

the scroll function and go to "3-1/2 Floppy (A:) and select the desired files

and

press

open.

Another dialogue box will open titled (Select Destination Folder). In the list box

next to "Look in:" use the scroll key and find "Program Files – Arc Machines, Inc –

Languages". Select OK. This will put the new language file into the Language

Folder and make it selectable.
