Secure the rail clamps to the cradle assembly on the dyno using two 3/8-inch
shoulder bolts and metal washers each.

Move the rail clamps up and down and verify they move freely.

Using a ruler, measure the vertical free play movement of each rail brake.
The free play should not exceed 5 mm (3/16 in.).

If the rail brake free play is out of specification, adjust by loosening the jam
nut and turning the adjusting bolt until free play is within specification.
Tighten the jam nut while holding the adjusting bolt.

Roll the dyno back and forth and verify the rail clamps are not binding.
