It is only possible to enter a POI in the local
area of the destination when route guidance is
active.
̈ In the map display with the menu sys-
tem displayed (

“Destination” K “From POIs” K “Near
Destination”.
̈ Continue by selecting the POI category

“Other City”.
̈ If necessary proceed as described un-
der Selecting a state/province

̈ To enter a city: Select “City”.
The city input menu appears.
̈ Proceed as described in the “Entering a
city” section (

̈ After entering the city, continue by se-
lecting the POI category (

Option 2
̈ Enter an address in the Enter Destina-
tion menu (

̈ Select “POI”.
̈ Continue by selecting the POI category

that are available in the digital map.
̈ In the map display with the menu sys-
tem displayed (

“Search By Name”.
This displays a list of all POIs in the dig-
ital map and the predictive speller.

with predictive speller” section

“Search By Phone Number”.
This displays a list of all POIs in the dig-
ital map sorted by phone number and
the predictive speller.
