Destination memory

There is always an entry in the destination

memory with the name “My Address” at the top
of the list. You can assign your home address, for
example, to this entry. If the “My Address” entry
already contains data that support navigation
(

Q symbol), you can select this for route guid-

ance.

Assigning home address for first time
or changing

If necessary switch to navigation mode
and display menu system
(

page 118).

Select “Destination

If there are more than 8 entries in the
destination memory, the destination
memory list with predictive speller is
displayed, otherwise the destination
memory list is displayed without
predictive speller (

page 137).

If the list without predictive speller is
displayed, the entry “My Address” is
highlighted automatically.

Press and hold

n until the predictive

speller disappears.

The entry “My Address” is highlighted
automatically in the list.

To exit menu: Select “Back”.

How you proceed from here depends
on whether you wish to enter the ad-
dress manually or use an address book
entry that supports navigation as your
home address.

Entering address manually

Switch to the destination memory list
without predictive speller if necessary.

To assign address for first time:
Press

n and select “New Entry”.

To change home address: Select
Options

K

“New Entry”.

In both cases, the Enter Destination
menu appears.

Enter the address. Proceed as de-
scribed for entering a destination in the
“Entering a destination via the ad-
dress” section (

page 126).
