9.2 Replacing the Summing Board
The signal trim summing board is easily accessible through an access plate located on the side of the Rice Lake
Bariatric Wheelchair Scale. Use the following steps to wire up the summing board.
1. Remove the two #10 x 3/8" screws.

2. Slide the summing board out of the scale deck.
3. Connect the wires to the indicator terminal as shown in Table 9-2.

4. When the interface cable is protected and in its final position, complete connections to the indicator.
5. Check all strain relief fittings for tightness.
6. Slide the summing board back into the floor scale cutout.
7. Secure the Rice Lake Bariatric Wheelchair Scale side plate with the two screws.
