Manual tuning is effective when station signals are weak.

• When you tunc into a station, the frequency of the received
station is shown! in the front panel display.
• If you tune into an FM station, it is automatically received in the
monaural mode to increase signal qualify.

Rotate the INPUT selector (or press TUNER
on the remote control) to select TUNER as
the input source.

Press FM/AM on the front panel to select the
reception band (FM or AM).
FM or AM appears in the front panel display.

Press TUN MODE on the front panel so that
the AUTO indicator disappears from the front
panel display.
