Select the "TAPE" input

Load a cassette tape.

Open the door.
O Insert a tape and close the door.
Press so that ‘TAPE” is displayed.

•The type of tape, that is, Normal, Chrome or Metal, is set automatically.
• Remove tape slack before loading.
• Close the door securely.
Determine the playback modes.

Start playback.
Press the ◄ or ► key.
To play side B
To play side A
(when side A is facing toward you)
Each press switches the modes as follows.

(T) “ciD" ....Endless playback occurs.
d)
Playback stops after having played a side.
(D "z=>" .... Playback stops after having played the two sides.
(If the key is pressed, only tape side B will be played and
tape will stop after it.)

............. NR with higher performance.

(no indication).................... Dolby NR is not used.
• Select the Dolby NR mode according to the recording condition of the tape.
•When the remote control unit is used, set the A/B switch according to the
deck to be operated.
