5.3.1. Checking Communication Status
1. Cycle the power.
2. Navigate to the firmware versions menu (Run Screen-> Settings-> Next-> Diagnostics-> Versions).
3. Select a device from the drop down list.
4. The display will show “Ready” to indicate the device is communicating, or “No Communication”. The

device also may not appear in the version list if it’s not communicating.

5. If all the devices are communicating, the test has passed.

5.3.2. Visual Check
1. Look for any pinched or stretched cables especially near the boom pivot points such as the main lift

and fold points.

2. Ensure all the connectors and cavity plugs are clean, free of moisture and corrosion, and plugged in.
3. Dielectric grease must never be used on any of the CANbus connections.
