column/ Reset instrument/ click “Reset all active alarms”, click “OK”.

6. Set the “Set Val” to the value that will trip the alarm.

low alarms and must be set lower than the trip point on the high alarms. The software will show a warning if this
isn’t correct: “Alarm Set/Reset Value Error Entered/ Please correct entries””.

8. “Logging” is for logging the alarms on set &/or reset, options include: “None” (all alarms will not be logged- set &

reset). “Set” will log the time & date only the alarms that are tripped. “Reset” will log the time & date of the
alarms that are reset. “Both” will log the time & date of all alarms when tripped and reset.

9. “Pls Out” will allow a contact closure on one of the pulse outputs to allow a light or buzzer to better to alert the

active alarm. Note: The pulse outputs need to be configured to use: “Alarm”.

10. “Calling”- click to allow the instrument to “Call out upon alarm”. Click “Call pager” and enter a “Pager Display”

number that would display on the pager. Note: If no pager is used, (use a landline or cell number) the phone will
ring and the “Pager Display” tones will beep in your ear during the call.
Note: “Call Host” and “Send E-Mail” isn’t active at this time.

Alarms Reset Using Scroll Button

All active alarms can be reset manually by holding the scroll button closed for more than 4 seconds. They can also be
configured and reset by using the HDR Host. An active alarm will be indicated by the LCD display “flashing” once
per second. If the alarm mode is set to “Auto” and the alarm condition is resolved, the alarm will reset automatically.
The alarm “Set” and “Reset” date/time stamp will be recorded in the Alarm log (when “logging” is set to “Both” in
alarm configuration).

Setting up “Call out upon alarm”

(Call pager, land-line or cell phone):

a. From the “Configure Alarms” screen, select “Calling”. Click “Call Pager” and enter any number in the “Pager

Display” area.

b. From the “Configure Site info” screen, enter up to three phone numbers (Pager 1,2, or 3) that the instrument will

be calling (same number three times, three different numbers or any combination of numbers up to three).

c. “Pager Delay” will set the delay time from the end of dialing the phone number to the time the “Pager Display”

number will be sent to the pager. Test call the pager number and time how long it takes to enter the “Pager
Display” number. If dialing strait to a cell phone (or landline phone), the “Pager Display” value doesn’t matter.
