Managing Programmable Keys


Your Communicator has 16 programmable keys which can be configured for different
features.

To use the programmable keys, just press the key, then the configured feature will be
executed, some features will blink the LEDs or turn on the related features.

To configure programmable keys, go to

Phone tab of the web user interface, and find the

Do Not Disturb (DND)

Enable or disable DND

Lock IP phone

Lock or unlock phone

Speed dial

Speed dial the phone number

Abbreviated codes

Speed dial the entered string

Busy forward

Set number for call forwarding when busy

Always forward

Set number for all calls

No answer forward

Set number for when call is not answered

DND forward

Set number for when DND is enabled

Auto-answer

Enable or disable auto-answer

Call blocking

Set number to block

Busy lamp field (BLF)

Set number to monitor on a button

Call park

Park a call; contact administrator or service provider
for more information

Shared line appearance
(SLA)

Enables phone to be monitored using BLF feature

Asterisk parking number

Park a call on Asterisk IP PBX; contact administrator
or service provider for more information
