The GPIO Tab
The GPIO tab allows you to interact with all the general purpose user I/O
components on your board.
Figure 6–3 shows the GPIO tab.
The following sections describe the controls on the GPIO tab.
Character LCD
This controls allows you to display text strings on the character LCD on your board.
Type text in the text boxes and then click Display.
1 If you exceed the 16 character display limit on either line, a warning message appears.
User DIP Switch
The read-only User DIP switch control displays the current positions of the switches
in the user DIP switch bank (SW4). Change the switches on the board to see the
graphical display change accordingly.
