This section contains information about the Séance setup and various user options
for the Séance interface.

When the Séance box is powered up it should run through a boot up sequence and
automatically run the Séance program. Figure 3-1 shows a block diagram of the
screens available during power up. There are a number of debug facilities available in
the util screen which is accessed by pressing and holding the right hand key during
power-up or when the Séance program restarts.

The UTIL screen allows the user to go back to the previous version of Séance pro-
gram, Séance options or TCP/IP options if the updating process fails.

Pressing the Séance key will prompt to revert to the last saved version of the Séance
program. Once reverted the newer version is saved as the last version so the two can
be toggled between using this function. Similarly the Séance options can revert to the
previous version as can the TCP/IP set-up (the Séance box’s IP address).
