The main screen display the console type the Séance is set to and the state of the
PC1/PC2 switch. It also displays BNC or RJ45 connection (rj45 lower case means no
connection, RJ45 upper case means connecting).

The option screens allow the user to modify the Séance box’s configuration.

The version screens display the version of software running in the séance box and the
CCM.

The error screens display information about error conditions occurring in the Séance
software. The main error screen displays a description of the error. Pressing the
“more”-button will display the software routine that the reported the error.

There are two status screens which can be used to feedback the state of the séance
software for debugging purposes. The main status screen displays the number of the
currently selected cue along with a dynamic code. (If Comms is active the screen will
show SAM/Setup/CCM.)

S:step time
X:cross fade
M:MIDI sequence

Pressing the dynamic key displays the dynamic status screen which shows the cue
number and code of any dynamic that is active.

The codes are as follows:

S:stopped
I: prepared
T:started
R:recording
P:playing
p:pause play
E:stopped record
A:start play
C:created
N:play now
Y:play error
D:record error
?:unknown state
