This appliance comes equipped with a battery back-up. If this backup is used, install 4 AA batteries (not
supplied) into the holder and connect to the wire harness. Place near the IPI board. Connect the battery holder
to the wire harness before using the appliance. Place near the IPI board. (Batteries not included). If backup is
used, it must be connected to the 6 volt battery pack (supplied).
