BIOS Setup

Super IO Configuration

This section is used to confi gure the I/O functions supported by the onboard

Super I/O chip.

Allows BIOS to select
Serial Port1 Base
Addresses.

Serial Port1 Address and Serial Port2 Address

3F8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4
Selects the COM port’s base address.
Disabled
Disables the COM port.

Serial Port 2 Mode

COM port functions as a serial port or IrDA. You cannot use both at the same
time.

Normal
Sets the COM port to serial port mode.
IrDA
Sets the COM port to IrDA mode.
ASK IR
Sets the COM port to ASK IR mode.

Sets the COM port to ASK IR mode.

PWRON After PWR-Fail

Allows you to manually select an I/O address for the onboard serial port.

Note: Serial Port3 Address to Serial Port6 Address can be adjusted only with the following models
EC200/210/220/221-LR6G60 and EC200/210/220/221-LR6880. It does not support for EC200/210/220/221-
LRA060.
