From the main menu on the tester use the cursor softkeys to select
REMOTE MODE. The tester displays the message ESTABLISHING
COMMUNICATION.
Using the PAT software user manual instructions detailing upload to
the tester, configure the Upload dialogue box for Destination (tester
and serial number) and COM port. Select OK.
A PATGuard dialogue box is displayed on the PC to ensure the tester
is in REMOTE MODE and connected to the PC. Select OK to send
data to the tester.
The tester displays the message READY : SSS COMMAND MODE.
The PC software displays an Upload dialogue box that monitors the
progress of the upload. Once upload is complete a dialogue box
informs the user of a successful upload.
Select OK to acknowledge upload complete.
After uploading Appliances selecting an appliance to test which has
been uploaded will cause the Tester to offer the Testcode associated
with the Appliance in the software record to be decoded and
displayed ready to perform the test.
How to change the User
To change the User, use the cursor keys to highlight the CHANGE
USER option on the Main Menu and press Enter to display the
following menu: -
Use the cursor keys to highlight the User and press Enter to select
the desired option.
