Status Screens

These screens can be accessed in REC, PLAY and STOP modes pressing the DISP key and
allows to verify rapidly the main selected configuration options, even while recording.

The first two screens are dedicated to the configuration of the recorder:

Cfg

: Track system selected (TWO TRACKS or FOUR TRACKS)

Rout

: Selected audio routing (e.g. STEREO)

Freq

: Sample frequency selected (44.1 kHz, 48 kHz or 96 kHz).

+ or - point out pulling up or down. INT indicates the recorder's configuration.
TAPE indicates the value read in playback.

Sync

: Selected sync source (INTERNAL, EXTERNAL, VIDEO PAL, VIDEO NTSC or

WCLK)

Emph

: Emphasis enabled (ON) or disabled (OFF). INT stays for the recorder's

configuration. TAPE indicates the value read in playback.

Record

: Recording mode: ASSEMBLE (audio) or SUBCODES ONLY

Lim

: Limiter enabled (ON) or disabled (OFF)

Tape

: Cassette unlocked (WRITEABLE) or locked (WRITE PROT)

NO TAPE: No cassette in the tray.

Copy

: Copy (ALLOWED) or (PROHIBITED)

NO TAPE: No cassette in the tray.

Blank

: BLANK SEARCH function enabled (ON) or not (OFF).

Remote

: Remote mode activated (RS422) or not (OFF).

Temp

: Internal temperature of the recorder in Celsius (e.g. + 36 deg [C]).

The third status screen's first panel is dedicated to the ID's. The second panel handles of
powering of the inputs and outputs:

User prog

: Function allocated to the PRG key in REC mode:

TONE MUTE or MIC MUTE

AUTO PNO

: Automatic ID number by each press of the REC key:

(ON or OFF)

AUTO START

: Automatic START ID by each press of the REC key:

(ON or OFF)

--- POWER STATUS ---

Ins

:

e.g. means "analog inputs 1 and 2 powered, analog inputs

3 and 4 not powered"

Outs

: ON or OFF shows the powering

state of the analog outputs

Opt: ON or OFF: powering state of
the digital optical in/outputs
