NO TAPE INSERTED

Message

Appears when the user presses a transport
key while the cassette tray is empty.

PIC TRANS ERROR

Message

Informs of a communication error between
the main processor (Master) and an
auxillirary processor (PIC). The concerned
command is transmitted again to the
auxilliarry processor for processing. If this
message doesn't persist don't take any
particular measure.

PAUSE ENDED

Message

When Stelladat II is in PLAY/PAUSE mode,
an internal counter makes sure that the
tape scanner doesn't rotate indefinitely,
which is harmful for the tape on the long
run. After 1 min., Stelladat goes
automatically in STOP mode and displays
this message.

READY!

Message

This message informs the user that
Stelladat II just finished the task it was
executing (e.g. Go to last rec).

RS422 ERROR TIME OUT

Message

Command reception error on the RS422
port.

RS422 REPLY TIME OUT

Message

Data transmission error on the RS422 port.

START OF TAPE

Message

Self-explanatory.

TAPE ERROR

Alarm

Transport error: the two reels are blocked
and the tape doesn't run any more. Eject
the cassette and verify.

TAPE JAM

Alarm

Transport error: one reel is blocked. Eject
the cassette and verify.

TAPE WRITE PROTECT

Message

Appears by an attempt to record on a write
protected cassette.

TC AATON COM ERROR

Message

For recorders outfitted with the Time Code
module only:
Problem or time-out encountered while
communicating with an external Aaton Time
Code device.

TC DISPATCH ERROR

Alarm

For recorders outfitted with the Time Code
module only:
Time Code CPU error.

TC EXT IS MISSING

Message

For recorders outfitted with the Time Code
module only:
The external Time Code is missing (in
CHASE mode in particular). Verify
connections.

TC EXT RAM ERROR

Alarm

For recorders outfitted with the Time Code
module only:
Time Code CPU error.
