5. Grasp the sides of the cover (toward the front of the
computer) and pull it firmly back toward you, as shown
below. Then lift it up and off the computer.
Removing the Front Panel
You must remove the computer’s front panel to install or
remove a disk drive from the external drive bay or to remove
the subassembly from the computer.
Follow these steps:
1. Turn the computer so you are facing the front panel.
