Configuring NTP client/server mode with authentication
Network requirements
As shown in Figure 14 , perform the following configurations to synchronize the time between the AP and
the device and ensure network security.
• The local clock of the device is to be configured as a reference source, with the stratum level 2.
• The AP operates in client mode and the device is to be used as the NTP server of the AP.
• NTP authentication is to be enabled on both the device and the AP.
