Connecting a Video Tape Recorder

In most situations, you connect a VTR to your system to get footage from tape.

To connect a VTR to your system:

1. Using a remote serial cable, plug one end into the top RS-422 port on the back of

the Aurora Edit workstation.

2. Plug the other end of the cable into the back of the VTR.

Connecting an Audio Mixer

You can add an audio mixer to enhance Aurora’s audio capabilities by feeding
multiple inputs into the editor. The following table is a suggested configuration on the
setup of a mixer and Aurora Edit, based on the Mackie 1402VLZPro.
