How to adjust your monitor

Minimizing the color difference between the screen and the
hardcopy (Paper Color Sync)

Your monitor features Paper Color Sync technology that helps minimize the color difference
between the monitor and the hardcopy printed by the connected printer. Once the printing
result is predictable on the screen, you can retouch the image efficiently.

No additional software is required if you are working exactly with the following:

• Printer: Canon PIXMA PRO-10
• Paper: Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster
• Color gamut of the image to be printed: sRGB (the information is usually available in the

image properties)

1. Make sure the specified printer, paper, and the images are ready.

If you cannot meet the above requirements, you will need the software solution P

aper

Color Sync

, which supports more printers, papers, and color gamuts. See

Advanced soft-

ware on page 3

for more information.

2. Go to

Color Adjustment

and

Color Mode

.

3. Select

Paper Color Sync

. And then you can retouch the images as desired or print the

images.

Working with SDI devices

Your monitor is compatible with certain SDI to HDMI converters and SDI captures cards,
which allows you to connect with an SDI device and view ultra HD videos on the monitor. To
find out the compatible converters and capture cards, visit

www.BenQ.com

, find the

Overview

of your monitor model, and look for the compatibility list in the SDI feature introduction.
