Setting the flash energy

Depending on the device, the flash energy is set in stages over an adjusting
range of 7 f-stops from 4 (lowest flash energy) to 10 (highest flash energy)
and 6 f-stops from 5 (lowest flash energy) to 10 (highest flash energy). To
set the flash energy, proceed as follows:

To increase the flash energy in increments of 0.1 f-stops, press the UP
button.

To decrease the flash energy in increments of 0.1 f-stops, press the
DOWN button.

When the flash energy is changed, the LED display next to the TEST button
goes out until the selected flash energy is ready.

When the flash energy is reduced, the previously accumulated energy
is released with a flash.

Displaying the flash energy in watt seconds (Ws)

The flash energy can also be displayed in watt seconds. To switch over to
the display of watt seconds (Ws), proceed as follows:

Press the UP and DOWN buttons and keep them pressed for 10 seconds.

Displaying the number of flashes

The number of flashes can be shown on a six-digit display. To display the
number of flashes, proceed as follows:

Press the UP and DOWN buttons and keep them pressed for 4 seconds.

The first three digits are displayed first, followed by the last three.
