Hard Disk Recorder

This PVR has an embedded hard disk drive. Therefore, you can
record programmes without requiring any external storage media
such as a VCR.
It operates only with the

RECORD

( ) button on the remote

control.
The Record mode window consists of category, operation, signal
bar and progress bar.

File Name enables you to define the file that you want to save.
The default name is defined as

‘the name of a service_Hour/

Minute/Day/Month/Year.vid (aud)’

.

The items on the right side are user defined. Therefore, you can
enter a file name by using the

OK

button. But you can change only

the name of a service (and can’t change the time and the name of
extension). You can enter a file name with up to maximum 32 char-
acters.

Record Type consists of Now/Reserve.
The Now item shows that this is the right time to start recording.
The Reserve item enables you to select the start time/date/mode
for a time-reserved recording.

When Now is selected

, the start time of recording is the current

time, the mode is set to Once, and Start Date/Time/Record Mode
categories are displayed as disable.
‘Start’ is an operation item. However if the Record window is
recalled after the start, then ‘Stop’ and ‘Reserve’ exit as an
operation item.

When Reserve is selected

, Start Date/Time/Record Mode

categories are activated and you can enter by moving the cursor.
‘Reserve’ is an operation item.

The current date is fixed in Now recording.
In Reserve recording, you can select up to the forward seven days
including today from the list of items by using the buttons.

The current time is fixed in Now recording.
In Reserve recording, items are user defined and you can enter by
pressing the

OK

button.
