Connect one end of an optical cable (not included) to the
OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO
jack on the back of the player, then connect the other end to the optical digital
audio jack on your amplifier or other audio device.

If you are using a digital audio connection (

OPTICAL
DIGITAL AUDIO
), you must set the audio output format on the player
to match the digital decoding capabilities of your amplifier or alternate
